Mental Health Art Class Assistant

We are looking for kind and outgoing people to be art class assistants for the Artability program at People Incorporated Mental Health Services.

Artability classes are free art classes for people with mental illness. Many of our volunteers are artists or have an interest in art, but no art experience is required for this volunteer opportunity. All are welcome! We offer a variety of art classes such as painting, printmaking, weaving, drawing etc.

As an Artability Art Assistant you will help organize supplies, hand out materials, and directly assist our clients during art classes. We have a variety of classes to choose from each month, so you can pick and choose which classes you wish to volunteer for that fit with your schedule.

*If you are interested in this opportunity please express interest through VolunteerMatch and fill out a volunteer application located on our website: https://www.peopleincorporated.org/get-involved/volunteer/

*All volunteers must pass a background study screening and complete People Incorporated trainings, liability, HIPPA privacy and confidentiality agreements before they can start their volunteer activities with our organization.
