The Marketing/Social Media Coordinator will take an active role with creating a marketing plan annually, social media quarterly plans, branding/store items, drafting the newsletter with the director, and additional tasks.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • will plan posts for pet-related holidays and create marketing plan with Director
  • create themed campaigns based on holidays and fundraising promotions (examples: Arizona Gives Day in April and Feral Cat Month in October)
  • submit quarterly social media plan to director; schedule social media posts once approved
  • post events to websites and write press releases
  • make suggestions on how to grow sponsors/donors and social media followers (increase followers by 35% annually)
  • manage Cat Cavorting quarterly newsletter
This position is an excellent one if you enjoy giving back to a small nonprofit from the comfort of your home. Bonus points if you are able to create graphics in Canva or with the Adobe Creative Suite.

Mission Statement

Cat Cavorting is a 501(c)(3) focused on helping communities and individuals manage outdoor cat colonies with TNR (trap, neuter, return), tending to cat colonies, and rescuing adoptable cats off the streets.

Description

We are a new organization that works with reputable rescues to ensure adoptable cats are taken off the streets. We focus on doing trap, neuter, return (TNR) and controlling the community cat population this way. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona and strive to expand our volunteer base so more people may be educated on community cats and how to help. Our one year anniversary is August 2018.
