New Beginnings Animal Rescue is looking for volunteers to help clean our cat rooms and cat condos. Each day volunteers scoop litter boxes, dust, sweep, feed, dishwashing and any other general spot cleaning necessary to help ensure our cats have a safe and healthy living environment.
We have opportunities available for our "Pre Open" shift Wednesday through Friday from 3:00pm to 5 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am to 1pm.
We also have spot cleaning volunteer opportunities available during all of our open business hours of Wednesday through Friday4pm-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays Noon-4pm.
Cleaning generally doesn't take more than an hour and you get the added bonus of getting to play with cats before, during, and after you clean!
This opportunity requires training which occurs on Sundays between the hours of 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Training takes about an hour and you'll get a chance to experience both Pre Open and Open hours tasks.
Visit our website for volunteer applications.
Cleaning volunteers must be reliable, dependable, self motivated and 16yr+.

Mission Statement
We have a simple motto here - cats rule. We focus all of our time, energy, and resources into what is best for the cats in our care. New Beginnings Animal Rescue is a No-Kill, 501(c)(3) Exempt, Non-Profit cat rescue. We are completely run by volunteers, funded by donations, and powered by cat hair.
Description
We started this rescue back in 2010 because we wanted to do more for our community and the animals in it. During the great economic collapse, we started a pet food pantry to help pets stay with their owners. But for those cats who could not stay with their families, we found fosters to take care of them until adopters came along and gave them new, forever homes. We opened our Adoption Center in 2013 and have become a gathering place for animal lovers to share stories, educate one another, make a difference in their community, learn responsibility and compassion, and to cater to every whim and deserve of the felines who reside in it.
