Childcare Volunteer - Thursdays

This opportunity is recurring every Thursday from 4:15 - 5:15pm.

Every Thursday evening residents of Our Lady's Inn attend Parenting class. While moms are in class, children are in childcare with a volunteer.

The age and amount of children needing childcare will vary based on the season and how many families reside at Our Lady's Inn. Childcare on a typical evening would include approximately 1-6 children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Because of the varying number of children needing childcare, this volunteer should call ahead on Thursdays to ensure there is a need.

Volunteers with childcare experience required. Volunteers with experience serving at-risk families preferred. Volunteers will need to submit paperwork and attend Orientation prior to their first day. Childcare volunteers work directly under the Volunteer Coordinator and the Child Advocate with assistance and supervision by the Resident Support Staff.
