Residents of Our Lady's Inn attend on-site classes weekly such as Parenting, Job Readiness, Childbirth, and Pay It Forward. In order for all moms to attend class, we are in need of childcare for about 1 hour a day.
The age and amount of children needing childcare will vary based on the season and how many families reside at Our Lady's Inn. Childcare on a typical evening would include approximately 1-10 children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
Volunteers with childcare experience required. Volunteers with experience serving at-risk families preferred. Volunteers will need to submit paperwork and attend Orientation prior to their first day. Childcare volunteers work directly under the Volunteer Coordinator and the Child Advocate with assistance and supervision by the Resident Support Staff.
This is a weekly recurring opportunity on Wednesdays from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.
