Osceola County Emergency Management is searching for motivated volunteers who are eager to gain experience in the emergency management field. Our program is designed to provide a hands-on learning opportunity with an emphasis in public service.
We accept applicants into the volunteer program throughout the year. Individuals who have a passion for volunteering and giving back to their community can apply to be an Emergency Management Volunteer (EMV). EMVs are volunteers who commit to serve in a number of different functions according to interest, knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA). Applicants WILL NOT be turned down based on their KSA.
Available shifts from Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm.
To apply, please send email to daniel.tohorton@osceola.org indicating your interest to volunteer. The next step will be to schedule an informal meet-and-greet at our office.
