Storrowton Village Museum, located on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition, home of the annual Big E Fair, facilitates programs geared toward elementary school children throughout the school year (October - November and February - early June).

Program facilitators dress in 19th century costumes provided by the museum and facilitate various activities with school-aged children, including quill pen writing, open hearth cooking, school lessons, and more! Volunteers receive in-depth training on the programs as well as 19th century history and the museum's background.

Programs are primarily on Tuesdays or Wednesdays with some occasional Thursday and Friday opportunities. Program volunteers must be available on a Tuesday or Wednesday on a reoccurring basis (during the school year)from 9am - 1pm.

Ideal for retired teachers and anyone with a passion for working with children to give them a tactile experience on early American life.
