Your Money Matters is a Mentorship Program that provides FREE financial mentoring. We are not a coaching, counseling or advisory program. YOU DO NOT NEED a background in the financial industry or financial education.

One of the major needs Your Money Matters addresses is that even after participating in financial education individuals conclude the course thinking, "now what"? and wondering how to implement what they learned. Your Money Matters fills that gap by pairing students with trained and dedicated mentors who can help shepherd them through the often-overwhelming maze of personnel finance- from assisting them in deterring which bank account is best to mitigating commercial debt to creating a household budget-mentors are there with them every step of the way.

Your Money Matters will train you to become mentor. For more information about our program and to signup for this exciting new program to become a mentor visit our website at www.yourmoneymattersmentoring.org.

Please email me at ymmm.info@gmail.com and indicate that you would like to attend this training.

Mission Statement

Your Money Matters is a Financial Mentorship Program that provides individualized long-term, quality one on one financial mentoring that supports, educates, and empowers economically vulnerable, low income, young people and adults at no-cost.

Description

Your Money Matters will target youth and young adults who have already participated in some form of group financial education to ensure a more even baseline knowledge among participants. In some cases, initial group training will be provided first before the mentorship component of the program begins. Your Money Matters program then picks up where these programs leave off. One of the major needs Your Money Matters addresses is that even after participating in financial education, many individuals conclude the course thinking, "now what?" and wondering how to implement what they learned. Your Money Matters fills that gap by pairing students with trained and dedicated mentors who can help shepherd them through the often-overwhelming maze of personal finance - from assisting them in determining which bank account is best to mitigating commercial debt to creating a household budget - mentors are there every step of the way.
