Mission Statement
We run for those who can't. We organize an annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot that raises needed funds for spinal-cord injury research at the Reeve-Irvine Research Center at UC Irvine
Description
Plymouth Rock 'N' Run (PRNR) was established to provide much-needed support for spinal-cord injury research at the Reeve-Irvine Research Center (RIRC) at UC Irvine. Our event management team is an eclectic mix of working and retired professionals, experienced race managers, athletic coaches, and runners whose passion and common goal is to put on a top-notch, family-friendly running event to benefit both our local community and RIRC via ResearchforCure (the non-profit umbrella for this event).
Since our inaugural run in 2008, PRNR has evolved from a small, grass-roots affair into an established Thanksgiving Day tradition, welcoming many hundreds of participants and spectators from the Orange County area and outlying communities. With each passing year, PRNR continues to grow in both prestige and popularity.
