Green Mobility Network is hosting a bike valet 4 July at the Biltmore Hotel tennis courts, 1036 Anastasia Av. , Coral Gables. We will be watching bikes for those who wish to watch the Coral Gables 4 July fireworks event. The valet will be at the tennis courts east of the Biltmore hotel, accessed by a gravel path from the sidewalk leading to Anastasia Av. This is a good chance to get volunteer hours needed for school. Please bring your school volunteer forms or we will e-mail you after the event.
We need volunteers from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You should be at least 15. We have a crew to set up the bicycle racks and tent. From 7 until 9 we will be assisting customers park their bikes by fastening a ticket to the right handlebar with a rubber band and giving them the coupon with a matching number. The fireworks will be from 9:00 to 9:30 PM. After that there will be a rush of cyclists wanting to go home. We will match their coupon with the ticket on the bike to ensure everyone gets the same bike they brought. We will then pack up and leave.
Anastasia Av. will be closed from Malaga Av. to Granada Blvd. after 3 PM so you will need to be dropped off and walk to the site. There will also be Uber and Lyft drop off points. Please contact Eric Tullberg - 305-255-2594 e-mail e341@bellsouth.net and advise if you can work from 7 to 11 PM. There will be water available on site and Coral Gables will provide sandwiches. Help cyclists with their bikes and have an great time while getting school volunteer credit.

Mission Statement
Green Mobility Network promotes bicycling, walking, and public transit as attractive choices for daily transportation and recreation. Our vision is a healthier, more livable Miami-Dade with safer streets for all.
Description
We encourage bicycling, running, and walking for their own sake and for the increased personal health and community livability they can foster. We have made big strides raising the visibility of bicycling and the responsiveness of local government to both bicycle and pedestrian issues. Many of our volunteers report their hours for public service credit at their schools, and some keep coming back to help even after their obligations are filled. That's true public spirit, and we salute it.
