ORGANIZATION: The Texas Pool

  • 1 person is interested

The Party Director position is vital to success of the Texas Pool Foundation, as our membership income is a primary source of income that sustains us all year. The Party Director is one of the most forefront and visible Directors at the Texas Pool talking and emailing members and guests as they book public and private parties, and bring countless new people to the pool each season. Attention to detail is critical, as keeping parties, deposits and payments documented are vital to the success of the party. Parties start ramping up in May and start winding down in July, so you must have the bandwidth to devote to returning calls promptly (within 24 hours), about one hour per weekday during the busy time and 1-2 hour per month the remainder of the year. All communications are from incoming inquiries, no outbound party sales, no cold calling.

As a member of the Texas Pool Foundation Board of Directors, you will be volunteering at a 501(c)3 non-profit, helping your community. The Texas Pool meets at least monthly to discuss ongoing issues and improvements. Join us at events and community outreach opportunities for a great time, and don't forget to #swimacrosstexas with your family as you'll earn a free family membership.

This position will apprentice with the current Party Director this year, with complete on-the-job training and will be able take the lead next swim season! So don't worry, no experience required!
