Who we are:
Doodles Academy comprises a group of volunteer artists and educators who believe that regular exposure to art is crucial in order for the next generation to develop into reflective and adaptable adults.

We offer a high-quality, comprehensive art curriculum that is tuition-free and distributed online. By offering structure and guidance as well as an adaptable program that can fit into any number of educational contexts or classroom objectives, we make providing a high-quality art education easy for any educator.

The Project:
We have spent the last year re-vamping our business plan and model, and are now starting to implement it. We have a focus on classroom integrations that we feel is not reflected as well as it could be on our website. We would like to update the website copy to more accurately reflect our business and model.

What we need:
We are seeking an individual who has experience writing engaging copy to help up update our website copy. The ideal volunteer would have experience writing for websites and have an understanding of how to communicate clearly and effectively, as well as has an good knowledge of how to include keywords in order to increase our organic SEO. While not a requirement, it would be helpful if the volunteer was familiar with the education sector and able to use language that would appeal to classroom teachers and administrators.

The volunteer would take raw copy that reflects the content of what we would like on the website and re-write it to make it accessible and marketable to website visitors.
