Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) to be that kiddo's mentor and friend. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, providing assistance, counsel and guidance.
Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check. There is also an thorough interview portion within the enrollment process.
This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (nationally) is best and most known for.
Presently, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in need of men to volunteer as Big Brothers. We have several young kiddos enrolled as Little Brothers waiting to be matched with a Big. Please consider volunteering today! Also, please spread the word. Any and all help with regards to recruiting volunteers would be greatly appreciated!
