School Supply Collection Box Delivery Benefiting Homeless Children

Children's Restoration Network is a non-profit organization that helps 6,600 homeless children throughout Metro Atlanta. Our goal this year is to make sure that each of these kids starts the school year with a brand new filled book bag in order to help them fit in at school and be able to complete all of their school assignments.

In order to meet this goal, we have over 100 different companies, civic organizations, and neighborhoods who have volunteered to host school supply collections for us throughout the month of July, including dozens of groups in Laurenceville and the surrounding communities.

We are in great need of volunteers to pick up empty collection boxes from our office and deliver them to these locations in the Laurenceville area so that they can fill them with school supplies. Our office is located at 11285 Elkins Rd., Suite C-4, Roswell, GA 30076. The collection boxes collapse to fit into any car, and you can pick them up and deliver the boxes on any weekday between June 27 and July 5 during business hours.

This volunteer opportunity is flexible as far as which specific day (or days) that you volunteer for and can range from spending an hour to take collection boxes to one location to delivering boxes to numerous collection sites over the course of multiple days. Please contact our Distributions Coordinator to let him know what days and times you would be available to volunteer and what areas of town you are comfortable taking collection boxes to.
