The YWCA Women's Residence is located in a federalist home built in the early 1800's. The house still retains the original layout and structure (with few updates and modifications. In order to ensure that this is a welcoming and esthetically pleasing home, we often paint the individual rooms and common spaces. I am looking for individuals who are wiling to be one a list to be called when we are looking for help with prep and painting.

YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Nourishing the North Shore is a separate initiative focused on ensuring equal access to healthy food to all members of the greater Newburyport community in a manner that builds community, fosters connection, and promotes dignity and self-reliance.
Description
YWCA Greater Newburyport is a part of an international women's movement. Across the globe, we have more than 25 million members in 122 countries, including 2 million members in 230 local associations in the United States.
Locally, we address these injustices within our community through safe, affordable and supportive child care and youth development, housing and wellness opportunities.
Nourishing the North Shore works with the community to create access channels to healthy food, builds and maintains community gardens, develops and leads educational programs and supports local farmers.
