The YWCA provides affordable housing for 25 individuals and families many of whom were homeless. When a new tenant moves in or has an opportunity to get new or more furniture we need help with moving. The YWCA has a van that we can use to transport but we need strong hands to help. If you are interested in being on a list that I can call when i need help, please respond here. Pick up times and what we are moving varies so I would like to have several folks I could call when the need arises.

YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Nourishing the North Shore is a separate initiative focused on ensuring equal access to healthy food to all members of the greater Newburyport community in a manner that builds community, fosters connection, and promotes dignity and self-reliance.
Description
YWCA Greater Newburyport is a part of an international women's movement. Across the globe, we have more than 25 million members in 122 countries, including 2 million members in 230 local associations in the United States.
Locally, we address these injustices within our community through safe, affordable and supportive child care and youth development, housing and wellness opportunities.
Nourishing the North Shore works with the community to create access channels to healthy food, builds and maintains community gardens, develops and leads educational programs and supports local farmers.
