Find Fulfillment in Helping OthersYOUR PRESENCE CAN MAKE A BIG IMPACT

The volunteer program at Remita Health is for those who want to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Our volunteers usually make commitments that last from weeks to months, and it typically involves visits during daytime hours. We encourage our volunteers to focus on providing comfort, support, and companionship to patients and their families, wherever they may reside.

If you’re searching for a valuable, heartfelt and rewarding role, and you're 16 years of age or older, we welcome you to join the Remita Health volunteer program. Your contribution is vital to our team, and we could not provide the quality care to our patients and their families without you.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers serve our patients wherever they reside from adult care homes to skilled nursing facilities to private residences.

The following are examples of the many ways in which volunteers can participate with Remita Health hospice program:

  • Creating special gifts for patients and families, such as holiday decorations, memory bears and pillows using garments once worn by the patient.
