The Broomfield Depot Museum Friends is seeking a treasurer to join their Board of Directors. This new board member must be responsible, trustworthy, and excel at handling money. Previous accounting or finance experience is preferred.
This person will be responsible for managing the money and writing grants. Using Quickbooks, or other similar software, the treasurer will keep track of the general accounting which includes but is not limited to postage, supplies, advertising, purchases, and grant funding.
This is a board member position. The volunteer will be required to fill out a background check form as well as a separate application for the position which will be reviewed by the board. The treasurer will need to commit to attending the board meetings, which take place on the second Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
