Help children learn to read or do basic math by joining the tutoring team at Pleasant Ridge Montessori! You may pick the day(s) and the time frame (s) you would like to volunteer each week, Mon. - Fri., 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (and sometimes until 3:00 PM.) You may choose the grade levels (kindergarten - 6th grade) that you would like to assist in improving students' reading/writing and/or math skills. We will match your preferences!
Training and materials are provided. Tutoring takes place at our school, which is conveniently located on the bus line.
*Tutors are required to have a local background check. You may get one at the Hamilton County Justice Center, 1000 Sycamore Street, Cincinnati, Suite 100, Ohio 45202, Mon.-Fri. 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. COST is $5.00 (CASH ONLY) with your driver's license, passport, or state ID.
