Opportunities for Teens Seasonal - Summer Student Program
Shift: Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30 - 12 pm
Spend sometime outside on our beautiful 134 acre Wildflower Preserve and help preserve native habitat. The 2019 Summer Student Program is designed for students entering 9th grade through 12th grade. Our program takes place on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:30 am - 12 pm, from Wednesday, July 10th through Friday, August 16th. Main duties include working on the grounds and in our Native Plant Nursery. Our volunteers are also welcome to participate on occasional Saturday Weed Patrols from 9:30 am - 12 pm. Description
Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve is located in Bucks County PA. 134 acre wildflower preserve with almost 4.5 miles of walking trails, streams, wildlife and over 700 species of native Pennsylvania plants. The Preserve's main purpose is educational. Constant stewardship of the property and plant propagation is of utmost importance.
