Join us Saturday, June 23rd for our Summer Carnival and Children in Need event! It is a special summer event because Realities for Children will be hosting us on their beautiful site, 308 E County Rd 30, Fort Collins, CO 80525. Expect carnival games, catered food, and all sorts of fun as we help provide families with the resources, information and services they need for a safe and healthy summer.
What is Children In Need?
Children in Need is a Resource and Distribution fair for families at-risk of or experiencing homelessness. Homeward Alliance holds these events quarterly. We distribute gear, outerwear, hygiene items and other supplies, and numerous partner organizations join us to provide attendees with a wide range of additional services: eye exams, health screenings, children’s books, art supplies, haircuts, resource information and pet food, among others. Attendees are referred to the events through the McKinney-Vento program in the local school district and/or through agencies that serve homeless children and families in Larimer County.

Homeward Alliance (formally Homeless Gear) is a Fort Collins-based nonprofit that provides a continuum of services to individuals and families who are homeless or - in some cases - at risk of becoming homeless: supplies that help them survive in the short-term, connections to resources in the interim and links to employment, housing and self-sufficiency in the long-term.
