The Alzheimer's Association is looking for passionate and spirited volunteers to join our Cheer Squad on Thursday, November 22, Thanksgiving Day, as we cheer on the runners and walkers of Cincinnati's 109th Thanksgiving Day Race! We will provide music, cheer props, spirit gear and something warm to sip on!
The Alzheimer's Association's ALZ Stars Team is a proud charity partner of Cincinnati's Thanksgiving Day Race. Our cheer squad will be there to support the ALZ Stars athletes as well as all participants of the Thanksgiving Day Race.
Purple attire is encouraged. This will be a FUN, family-friendly volunteer opportunity for Thanksgiving morning. Come cheer on the participants of the 109th Thanksgiving Day Race in Downtown Cincinnati. The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati serves 37 counties in Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana through a variety of programs and services. The chapter provides counseling and support for families affected by Alzheimer's disease as well as educational programs for professional and family caregivers.
