Summer Movie Nights at Santa Clara County Parks!

Volunteer to be a part of the summer movie night series. Enjoy the outdoor fun of watching a current movie on the big screen in the outdoors. Volunteers assist park staff with set up and tear down of the movie screen and sound system. There are two shifts to choose from for each event. If you wish to volunteer for the whole event, please sign up for both shifts. Shifts are busiest at the beginning of the opening shift or the end of the closing shift. Extra bonus: you are encouraged to enjoy watching the movie too!
Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from the event as well as bring any food or drink you will need for the shift. Dress warmly, in layers, and bring a chair and a blanket for comfort. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds is ideal.
Vaccination verification will not be required for volunteer events that are outside and one-time or short-term in nature. If you wish to apply as a Long Term volunteer (18 and older), or volunteer working indoors, you will be required to show proof of vaccination and all boosters for which you are eligible. Regardless of your vaccination status, do not attend a volunteer event if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to COVID-19. Click here for Santa Clara County's COVID-19 Guidelines. Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.
