Elara Caring Hospice is seeking a caring volunteer to provide companionship visits to our patients who reside in nursing home facilities and private homes in the local area. These visits can consist of playing games, reading to patients, drawing, painting, creative writing, manicures, life stories, or simply holding their hand and providing them with comfort. Volunteer visits are extremely beneficial for patients and provide volunteers with a sense of fulfillment. Are you worried that you might not know the right things to say? It's okay! Your loving and comforting presence is enough.
