Hope Grows Dual Therapeutic Respite(tm) offers facilitated eductional and therapeutic respite activities for family caregivers and care recipients. Care replacement is provided, as the care recipients of cross-disabilities and chronic illness will simultaneously engage in nature-based programming. Everyone will have the opportunity to engage in horticulture therapy and mindful activities. Program has an Intergenerational and Cross-Disability Emphasis; intergenerational benefits of older with younger volunteers. Volunteers across all age categories are welcome, age 18 and older. Volunteers are screened and background checks are required. Volunteers are also required to attend a training session in Hope Grows Therapeutic Horticulture Model.

Our mission is to restore the lives of those impacted by the role of caregiver and to inspire wellness of mind, body, and spirit through the use of counseling, education, overnight retreats, supportive services, and healing and restorative gardens.
Description
The support services we offer include individual and family counseling, various support groups, stress management education, essential oil classes, nature related programming, horticultural therapy, and programs such as 'Grow Together with Take a Break' Pollinator Nature Camp and 'Think Caregiver.'
