ORGANIZATION: Good Samaritan Health Clinic

Check in patients in our EMR, take vitals.
Assist provider while patient is being seen.
Each provider usually has 2-5 patients, estimated time in the clinic is 2-3 hours.
Clinic is open Monday through Thursday only. Volunteers needed between 10am-5pm for a two-three hour shift.

We have taken extra precautions to keep all staff, volunteers and patients safe and healthy, including daily sanitizing, masks being recommended as well as handwashing and daily temperatures.

Description

Good Samaritan Clinic has been serving Pasco County for 32 years. In 1990, a dedicated group of individuals recognized an unfulfilled need to healthcare services to be freely available to the medically needy members of our community. Since that time, the Clinic has grown, and now has over 3,5000 patient visits annually.

The Clinic staff is made up of only 4 full time employees along with 8 part-time employees or independent contractors The clinic relies heavily on the help of over 100 volunteers a year. Volunteers include licensed MD's, DO's, DDS's, APRN', medical assistants, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative support personnel, and eligibility and referral specialists.
