ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound

The Boys & Girls Clubs South Pierce County sites and Lakewood Branch are seeking Program Support Volunteers who can speak Spanish.

Summary of position and duties:

  • Help children who need an extra academic boost over the summer in math and science.
  • Play educational games with club members.
  • Assist staff in setting up supplies and program prep work.
  • Provide communication support for club members with English as a second language.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Patience working with children.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age with HS Diploma/GED/Equivalent
  • Able to pass a background check and national sex offender registry check
