The Alliance for the Great Lakes works to protect the Great Lakes for today and tomorrow. We involve tens of thousands of people each year in advocacy, volunteering, education, and research to ensure the lakes are healthy and safe for all.
Description
For more than 25 years our Adopt-a-Beach program has worked to keep Great Lakes shorelines healthy, safe, and beautiful. The program is largest of it’s kind in the region. Adopt-a-Beach touches all five Great Lakes with volunteers from all eight Great Lakes states.
Adopt-a-Beach is about community, and we want you to be a part of it! Join us and thousands of Great Lakes lovers to keep our beaches beautiful. It’s easy! All you have to do is:
- Find an Adopt-a-Beach cleanup near you and sign up.
- Show up at the beach.
- Clean up, make friends and have fun!
