Homestead Hospice is looking for a patient and motivated volunteer who will sit at the patient's bedside and create a memory journal for them. A memory journal is a flipbook of their family, their photos, their memories to help them remember loved ones and cherished memories. It may take a few sessions to create the memory book, and then it would be great for the volunteer to encourage the patient to try remembering using the book. Visits are flexible at the convenience of the volunteer and the patient, around all eating times, not after 5 and not before 10, a typical visit is only about an hour long.
Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
There are requirements to begin but are at the mutual convenience of the volunteer and Homestead.
