Avenidas is hosting a Bring Your Own Device event on Tuesday, June 19th from 1-3pm, for seniors to bring their smartphones, tablets or laptops in for one-on-one sessions with volunteer tutors. If you would like to be a volunteer tutor and have the knowledge for ioS/Apple and Android/PC devices/computers, we would love to have you be a part of this fun event! It is very rewarding to empower seniors to learn all the different facets of the technology they have at their fingertips! Attendees may want help with anything from settings on their phone, to virus protection on their laptop to posting on Facebook and Instagram or using Uber and Lyft to schedule rides.
