Description
Columbus Gives Back wants you to join us for one of the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio's signature events called RivALZ on Saturday, June 23 at St. Francis Desales High School. RivALZ Columbus is where women united in the fight against Alzheimer's disease divide into teams to compete in a flag football game to inspire fundraising, awareness and action. Their Young Professional group, Junior Committee, plans RivALZ as their signature fundraising initiative each year.
What: During the game, we need 7 volunteers to help with set up/clean up, concessions stands, raffle items, and registration.
When: Saturday, June 23rd from 2:30 PM to 7 PM
Where: St. Francis DeSales HS. 4212 Karl Rd. Columbus, OH43224
After the event: Join us for food and drinks and celebrate rivaling Alzheimer's with our other awesome volunteers!

About the Alzheimer's Association Junior Committee: The Junior Committee is a group of young professionals that engage in volunteerism, fundraising, and advocacy. They’re going places, raising money, and making a difference. Oh yeah, and having a lot of fun while they do it. Check them out here!
About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back makes volunteering fun and easy! We organize one-time volunteer events in relaxed, social settings that are scheduled to fit working professionals' busy schedules.

Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals.
