Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at the 49th annual Taste of Champaign-Urbana! This year’s event is going to feature some great local food, drinks, and entertainment. We would love to have you join our team!


We are so appreciative of all of our volunteers. We could not make this event possible without you.

We need assistance with a variety of tasks:

-Selling Merchandise

-Assisting Vendors

-Pouring Beer

-Volunteer and Vendor Check-In

-Ticket Sales

ALL VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE A SHEET OF FREE TASTE TICKETS FOR EVERY TIME SLOT THEY VOLUNTEER FOR TO SPEND AT THE FESTIVAL! You will also be provided with a t-shirt, snacks, and drink during the volunteer shift. Volunteers will also be entered into a raffle to win a prize pack from the Champaign Park District.

The Champaign Park District is here to connect you to a vibrant community of people and opportunities. Our mission is to enhance our community’s quality of life through positive experiences in parks, recreation, and cultural arts.

Description

The Champaign Park District is a special district of local government with its own financial and legal responsibilities. It is governed by five elected residents of Champaign who give their services to the community. The Park Board holds its regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm and study sessions on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Bresnan Meeting Center, 706 Kenwood Road. Residents are invited to attend and are welcome to make suggestions or comments to improve programs or facilities.

The Champaign Park District’s 58 parks total over 700 acres. Thirteen facilities are available for a wide variety of recreational opportunities.
