Want to test your internal fortitude and athletic ability? Then the Champaign Park District’s 36th annual Mini-Triathlon is for you! This chip-timed event will consist of 3 of the most popular fitness exercises in the world: swimming, running, and bike-riding. You will be tested with a 200-yard swim, a 6-mile bike ride, and a 2-mile run. Age categories for the male and female racers are: 14 & U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, and 60+.
We need help with all aspects of the race, from start to the finish line!

Description
The Champaign Park District is a special district of local government with its own financial and legal responsibilities. It is governed by five elected residents of Champaign who give their services to the community. The Park Board holds its regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 pm and study sessions on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Bresnan Meeting Center, 706 Kenwood Road. Residents are invited to attend and are welcome to make suggestions or comments to improve programs or facilities.
The Champaign Park District’s 58 parks total over 700 acres. Thirteen facilities are available for a wide variety of recreational opportunities.
