Want to learn what is involved in providing critical diabetes medication to those in need? Volunteer with us and gain exposure while sharing your expertise! In this position, you will:
- review and process assistance applications, serving as the main point of contact for medical professionals and patients, as well as for the pharmacy distribution site.
- Your important work will ensure that people with diabetes receive their much-needed medication and supplies quickly and will not have a lapse in their treatment.
- Bilingual Spanish skills also a plus, but not required.
- Must be very comfortable performing data entry, using email, and creating documents on the computer, as well as corresponding with patients and professionals via telephone. Diabetes, pharmacy, general healthcare or medical office background a plus, but certainly not required.
- This person will be working with personal information, and confidentiality is of the utmost importance.

DF serves people living with Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes within the state of New Jersey. Our support services provide children and adults with necessary resources to help navigate this chronic disease which is impacting 1 in 12 people in our state.
