Summer Camp!

Wesley Housing’s Summer Camp enrichment program at its community resource centers (CRC) focuses on rising 1st through 6th graders, providing them with an exciting opportunity to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, build self-esteem, and make lasting friendships and memories. We serve at-risk children in low- and moderate-income rental housing properties.

Share your enthusiasm and patience to assist at the following community resource center (CRC):

Colonial Village CRC: Arlington, VA 22201 (close to Courthouse and Rosslyn metro stations).
Lincolnia CRC: Alexandria, VA 22312 (near Annandale).
Wexford Manor CRC: Falls Church, VA 22043 (Merrifield area)

Volunteers will help with:

  • STEM program activities and projects
  • Indoor/Outdoor recreational activities
  • Set up and clean up

Camp Days/Hours: Monday-Friday. 10:00am-3:00pm.

Camp Duration: 5 weekly sessions; July 6-August 9.

Time Commitment: Flexible schedule; minimum one day per week preferred.

Wesley Housing is a nonprofit affordable housing developer operating 29 communities totaling over 2,300 affordable housing units, serving over 25,000 individuals. In addition to housing, Wesley Housing also provides services to its residents through Community Resource Centers which offer afterschool programs for youth, computer training, job skills training, ESL classes, nutrition classes and recreational programs for youth and adults.
