On June 23rd, UCM and it's neighbors are celebrating our community with fun-filled family activities and entertainment at the Sacramento Neighborhood Center's Community Day.

Family activities and entertainment include games, arts and crafts, yoga, a moon bounce, basketball and soccer, community information, food, and more!

UCM is seeking volunteers to help make this event a success. From manning the moon bounce, to check-in and set up, we need volunteers to help with every aspect of the day.

Volunteer Opportunities include:

• Set Up
  • Assist with setting up tables/chair/signs and other items in preparation for the day.
  • Time: 10 - 11 am
• Check - In/Registration
  • Pass out food, game, and other activity tickets as residents arrive.
  • Time: 11 am - 3 pm
• Hosts/Greeters
  • Walk around and ensure residents are enjoying themselves and suggesting activities for them to enjoy.
  • Time: 11 am - 4 pm
• Free Play Activities
  • Assist kids as they partake in a variety of free play activities including board games, yoga, soccer, basketball, face painting, etc.
  • Time: One hour shifts from 11 am - 2 pm (11 - 12, 12-1, etc.)
• Competition Time!
  
  • ​From basketball and soccer to a hula hoop competition, we need volunteers to carry out a host of friendly competitions
  • Time: 2pm-3:45pm
• Clean Up
  • Assist with breaking down tables/chair/signs and other items.
  • Time: 4 - 5 pm
