Our Lady of Angels gardens are maintained through the hard work and dedication of community members, residents and various staff. Garden volunteers work together to tend the various garden life around the property. Garden volunteer duties include watering, weeding, raking, mulching and planting.

Gardening hours are flexible and we will do the best we can to accommodate your schedule! Initial instruction will need to take place any time between 9a-4p Monday through Thursday.

Description

Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home opened its doors to welcome the retired and infirm Sisters of St. Francis of mary Immaculate On January 25, 1962. In APril of the same year, the first lay people took residency. Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home (better known as OLA) provides Independent Living, Sheltered Care, Intermediate Care and Skilling Nursing Care witin our four wings. We are a Medicare/Medicaid certified facility serving population of persons 65 and older. One of the many things that sets Our Lady of Angels apart from other retirement homes is our Chapel, which is located in the heart of our facility with all wings leading to this focal point.
