The Jackson County Child Advocacy Center (JCCAC) is looking for adults to greet and support children and families when they receive services at the JCCAC. Volunteers supervise children while caregivers meet with agency professionals and may assist the caregivers while children are being interviewed or are participating in counseling, as well as light office work like answering phones or helping with paperwork.
Training is provided and background checks will be completed on all potential volunteers.
We typically provide services from 8:00 am until approximately 5:00 pm Monday -Thursday. We are currently looking for volunteers who have availability for at least one 4-hour shift once per week.
