On June 21, 2018 thousands of people in more than 300 communities across the world will be volunteering through United Way to make their community a better place. United Way of the Bluegrass will be hosting our 2nd Annual Day of Action on Thursday, June 21 and we need your help! Volunteers will participate at 10 sites across the Bluegrass making a difference for UWBG partner agencies. Visit www.uwbg.org/dayofactin for more information!
Volunteer host sites on this day will include the following UWBG partners:

Anderson County Adult Education and Literacy Council
Arbor Youth Services

Life Adventure Center
The Nest
NEW in 2018- We will be hosting an after party at Whitaker Bank Ballpark from 4:30-6:30 PM to be followed by a Lexington Legends game vs. Charleston at 7:05 PM. All Day of Action volunteers are invited to celebrate the day with drinks and light snacks before the game. Volunteers will be given a t-shirt and a voucher for two tickets to any Lexington Legends game in the remaining 2018 season. We hope you can join us at the game to celebrate after a great day of giving back to the community!
