Transition House is a non-profit organization in Santa Barbara, California, dedicated to the solution of family homelessness. Transition House offers a comprehensive three-stage housing program that aims at helping families develop life skills and sound decision making practices, aimed at alleviating their poverty through strong family-centered support services and rigorous case management.
We are seeking a volunteer who can provide our development department with additional support in showing appreciation to our community supporters. Responsibilities would include writing handwritten notes to Transition House donors and volunteers. This position requires good grammar and penmanship. A writing sample will be requested. If you have an interest in helping our mission and enjoy writing, this may be a great fit for you!
