Volunteer Coordinator Job Description
Volunteer coordinator will be needed for 4 hours per week.
Looking for someone available on either Monday, Wednesdays or Fridays
Skills:
- Organizational skills
- Computer experience required
- Good communication skills
- Good telephone skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Conducts the program with the assistance of the American Cancer Society staff partner
- Communicates with the cancer treatment centers to make appointments for all transportation requests
- Creates daily driver schedules
- Calls and reminds the volunteer drivers the day before they are scheduled to drive
- Maintains accurate records of volunteer drivers and of all transportation services provided
