Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity's mission is to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter for those in our local community. Volunteers are at the heart of our organization and are always greatly appreciated!

Court-related volunteers can choose to work at the ReStore or on a build site. Specific details concerning these opportunities can be found at our website fredhab.org

Prior to volunteering for any of these opportunities, we require every volunteer to register on our volunteer site, GalaxyDigital. After Galaxy registration is completed, volunteers can view specific dates and times for available shifts.

Court-related volunteers must be ready to pay a $25.00 processing fee up front for a background check and official community service letter. Upon completion of your hours, our Volunteer Coordinator will provide you with service documentation on Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity letterhead.

Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity builds simple, decent affordable housing for members of our community.
Greater Fredericksburg Habitat is also proud to run the ReStore, which offers financial support for the building activities of Habitat, and serves as another way to support the Greater Fredericksburg community.

We have volunteer opportunities available both at our build sites and at our ReStore!
