St. Martin de Porres House of Hope a long-term residential facility for women recovering from substance abuse, trauma and mental illness is seeking a volunteer medial director.
The medical director will work one day per week for four hours. He/she will
- Perform duties associated with the position of Psychiatrist.
- Address and treat psychiatric problems of varying levels of acuity.
- Perform routine follow-ups.
- Assess, diagnose, and report findings.
- Complete admission paperwork with clients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and / or outside medical providers to maintain client’s continuity of care.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
