ORGANIZATION: Southside Center of Hope

St. Martin de Porres House of Hope a long-term residential facility for women recovering from substance abuse, trauma and mental illness is seeking a volunteer medial director.

The medical director will work one day per week for four hours. He/she will

  • Perform duties associated with the position of Psychiatrist.
  • Address and treat psychiatric problems of varying levels of acuity.
  • Perform routine follow-ups.
  • Assess, diagnose, and report findings.
  • Complete admission paperwork with clients.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and / or outside medical providers to maintain client’s continuity of care.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities.
