Loudoun Library Foundation's annual book sale needs volunteers for setup June 20 & 21. We need to set up tables, unload a truck of books coming from storage, unpack and display books, and post signage.
We have a variety of jobs for setup, from those for people who can carry heavy boxes to a few for those needing a seated task. Please note your age if you are under 20 years old, or note "adult".
You can pick a shift that works with your schedule, three hour minimum preferred. Volunteers at the sale and setup receive a $5 voucher for every 3 hours of work, up to two per day.
Hours:
SETUP VOLUNTEER TIMES: Wednesday, 8:00-5:00, Thursday, 8:00-5:00
SALE VOLUNTEER TIMES: Friday, 9:00-7:00, Saturday, 9:00-5:00, Sunday cleanup 4:00-6:00, Sterling cleanup, approx. 6:00-7:30.

The Loudoun Library Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) fund-raising organization dedicated to generating gifts, grants and community support for public libraries in Loudoun County.
Description
The non-profit Loudoun Library Foundation is an independent, all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting literacy and supporting libraries in Loudou n County.
Our annual used-book sale provides an inexpensive source of books for the community The proceeds from the sale are used to fund the Library Summer Reading Program and other grant programs. All libraries open to the public in Loudoun County may apply for a grant to fund special projects.
This year’s book sale will be held June 23-25, 2017, at Smarts Mill Middle School. Your donations to our book sale are crucial to our fundraising efforts, and are greatly appreciated. Book, DVD, CD, and Video game don ations can be made every Saturday from 10:00-12:00 at 203 E. Holly Ave., Sterling (the old PTEX automotive), and at Rust Library in Leesburg, through June 10.
