KaBOOM! Let's build a playground!
Hillsboro Parks & Recreation received a grant from the KaBOOM! organization, sponsored by M Financial and the Pacific Life Foundation to build a new playground for the children in the Turner Creek Park neighborhood. This playground is for the community, built by the community- 200 volunteers are needed to construct the playground in a single day!
Volunteers must be at least 16 years to participate.
Childcare is provided for children age 3+ who are potty trained.
Breakfast, lunch, entertainment and the satisfaction of knowing you helped a community join together in play, are all provided.
