Angel Watch Volunteers

Our Angel Watch Volunteers are non-medical Volunteers trained to provide emotional support to the patient and caregiver during the last hour of life.
Angel Watch Volunteers may be asked to sit with a patient during daytime hours, evenings, or on weekends. Volunteers rotate service/shifts to provide a team approach for support. Every effort is made to provide support until death occurs.
We invite you to become one of our Angels and give the gift of compassionate presence. "Those who have the strength and the love to sit with a dying patient in the silence that goes beyond words will know that this moment is neither frightening nor painful, but a peaceful cessation of the functioning of the body."
These volunteers have the option to work within a fifty (50) mile radius of Dallas, Ft. Work and/or McKinney, Texas
Our volunteer coordinator Tim Verville will reply by email within 24 hours Monday -Friday to set up an appointment at a time and location convenient for you.
