OC Habitats is looking for volunteer marine habitat naturalist educators. OCH hosts Marine Protected Area (MPA) Hikes along the Crystal Cove MPA and provides Tide Pool Explorations within the local tide pools in Orange County (Newport and Laguna Beach). We host large school groups (up to 50) or small groups (10 or more) to either hike or explore our local tide pools and intertidal zones and discover the marine life that relies on it and human impacts. Although no experience is necessary to volunteer for this position, we are looking for individuals with a strong environmental passion and have a special connection with the marine systems of our area. Since this is an outdoor and physical activity, we ask all of our volunteers to be able to walk at least 3 miles along the rocky coast. Individuals with CPR/First Aid training is also appreciated.

If you would like to apply, go to our website, https://www.ochabitats.org/joinourcrew, or our recruitment app, BetterImpact, http://bttr.im/h1bn9.
