Special Olympics is look for bowling coaches to help in the Ventura area. We have a program based at Buena Lanes that is seeking additional coaches.

What does a coach for Special Olympics do?

You will help train athletes in how to properly bowl.
Assist coach in management of athletes during practice.
Monitor athletes at competitions.
Attend competitions with team.

The mission of SOVC is to provide sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for Ventura County's children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing them with opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and share their gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Description

Ventura County Special Olympics includes over 700 registered athletes and over 90 certified coaches in 18 different sports year-round. Our goals focus around providing high quality sports training and competitions, along with growth in numbers of new athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
