VNA Hospice of SoCal is seeking volunteers to make phone calls to family members that have lost a loved one.
The main purpose of the phone call is to check in with the family member, see how they are doing and to invite them to our local grief support groups.
You will be provided with a list of bereaved individuals and their contact numbers. We will also provide you with what to say for each call. This volunteer will directly support and work with our bereavement coordinator as well as our volunteer coordinator.
Volunteers should possess a caring and confident phone demeanor as well as listening skills.
If you are interested, we'd love to hear from you.
