Best Friends National Conference - where people, passion and purpose come together to Save Them All

The Best Friends National Conference is coming to the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles July 19-21. And we could really use your help to make it a big success.

We are looking for volunteers to help with setting up on Wednesday, July 18 and tear down on Saturday evening, July 21.

Volunteers who helping with setup and tear down will be helping to construct/deconstruct a booth built especially for Best Friends. Volunteers that sign up for this should be able to lift at least 50 lbs, kneel, bend and stoop. You'll be moving and walking around for most of the shift. Experience with construction and building is a bonus! An experienced team lead and staff will be there to help guide you on what to do.

Volunteers are also needed to assist with unloading and unpacking supplies, and other preparations such as putting together name badges, table tent cards and folders. Physical activity, such as bending, stooping and lifting up to 30 pounds, may be required. Some tasks will be done standing, others while seated.

As a volunteer, you’ll be provided with a volunteer shirt, lunch (if it’s that time of day) and snack foods during your volunteer shifts. All other meals, transportation, parking and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the volunteer.

Please join us as a volunteer for this lifesaving (and life-changing) event by emailing us at bfvolcoord@bestfriends.org.

If you have any questions or need any additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you at the conference. And if you’re able to volunteer, then we hope to hear from you soon!
